DESPITE ALL AM A WINNER

I was born 22 years ago in given village in Vihiga county.Our family consisted of 7 members;Dad,mum and my five brothers.Was just but the third born.Since then life has been so much unfavorable due to the poor background i emerged from,I have encountered many things but never gave up because God was loyal towards my side,When i remember all i passed through some years back tears drop down my eyes. I learned in certain local primary school in our village called Mwembe primary,the school actually never performed well compared to other schools in the location.despite all this had to work hard towards my destiny.My dad was just but an office messenger in a secondary in the same village,wheres my mum was just but a house help and partly did some small scale farming.Problems were part of our daily life,Dad did all he could to sustain us and ensured something was on the table at the end of the day.His salary never exceeded five thousand per month.Lunch meal sounded strange and vision to us. After my Primary level i got 320 marks in KCPE and joined the same secondary school that my dad did work for in our village[Stanley Godia secondary school]It was a mixed school though,despite being that i was called in a provincial high school but i could not make to join because i had no enough capital to pay for my school fees.My late father clearly told me that 'Success starts with you,believe in your self,go work hard in this so called 'village school',more so put God ahead and yo will excel in Lords name'. My high school journey was not that smooth but i face a lot of given challenges but had to persevere and aim more higher.Out of my hard-work and perseverance i managed and passed my Secondary level exams.This was one of the biggest celebration at our home because i managed a direct entry to the university,something that no one in our family had ever achieved. That was start of prosperity light in our family,everybody believed that one day everything could change and we could never live the same life again.Dad had much hopes in me and all times prayed towards my destiny,at that extent life had not changed but God still had the best for us.I joined MOI UNIVERSITY to pursue LINGUISTIC,MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION.My dad partly struggled to pay for my school fees and my better upkeep in school.While in first year,my dad seriously became sick and lost his walking ability[2015-2016]Problems became worse more and more,we had no one to now morely support us as dad was the main day to day meal source and he also catered for our needs. We tried all we could to rescue his condition but all were in vain.Last year [August date 8]He died!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh!After all we did my dad just left us,i couldn't believe and up to now i never believe my Dad died but what will i do,i have to believe and move on,REST IN PEACE DAD, WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND WE REALLY MISS YOU! God has been great-full to this extent and has showered blessing to our entire family,We don't live same life we did,We are a big step ahead.Thank you GOD. My main aim of writing the entire story about my life is to give someone some hope somewhere,you may be encountering more than i did but NEVER give up,always go for what you feel suites you,For every hard moment you pass through know that their is reward at the end.God is always faithful to his people and will never let you down.Even if you never got the chance of joining any given school,never give up God carries the best for you,Never compare yourself to other people,be yourself and have trust in all you do.Believe me that one day you will succeed.Your destiny will never be determined by your background,,but do what you think can make you change your past.IN GOD ALL ARE POSSIBLE, BE BLESSED. @princealexthejournalist

MARRIED IN SCHOOL BUT SINGLE AT HOME

Welcome in campus where little girls are practising 'wifely functions'! Just visit the boys' hostels and you would be disappointed to find out that it is now common for a girl to live in with a course mate.It is now common for her lover to give her the popular compliment 'you look sexy my girl' and she would gladly reply 'thank you honey' with a flirty voice and a romantic smile. Who is her lover?A Freshaa or a Second year student and they are aiming for the next best couple award of the semester. So, the girl need to live in with him to prepare along.What nonsense! It seems that some girls suddenly loose their senses immediately they gain admission in university. I've seen that some of them have no more sense of caution,honour and dignity.They would change their wardrobes and acquire a new set of make ups just to look 'campussy' and 'sexy' enough for the guys. In months, they would start sleeping around with little boys. I mean boys who collect pocket money from their fathers,mothers and uncles! Dirty boys who most of the time are infected with sexually transmitted diseases.Hey! I want you to know that you were sent to school to obtain a degree not a disease. The campus is called a school;school not sex! You are in campus to receive education not ejaculation. You are in campus to master the use of a pen not the pleasures of a penis. Wake up girl! Do some thinking. Your future is greater than the 'best couple award'.You cook for a boy you are more intelligent than.You give your virginity to a boy who will definitely leave you after graduation. You play wife to a boy who cannot even care for himself.Oh!You have given too much. Enough! Open your eyes! Can't you see you're being foolish? You are passing through the fears of unwanted pregnancies yet you are opening your legs to a coward who cannot stand before your father. When you eventually gets pregnant, he would brutally advise you to abort it and you would timidly agree; then face the consequences later. What a shame! You may master the use of condoms but you can't master the punishment of your conscience.Don't you know you are bringing shame to your family? Don't you know that you are cursing your mother by accepting to sleep with a boy (not even a man) without her consent? I cautioned a girl against sleeping around and she replied " I don't sleep around; its only one boyfriend I have and am faithful to him". What impunity! That's classified harlotry. And don't you know that sleeping with a man without your father's blessings is bringing a curse to your future? What happened to your cultural values Somewhere in your heart you know he would use you and dump you; so why are you setting up yourself for a heartbreak? I want to remind you that you are a lady and one day you may get married. And your husband would know that you are such a dirty bitch who sleeps with anything on trousers. The greatest gift a lady would give to her husband on the wedding night is her virginity unless lost it out of (rape) not the certificate of best couple of the year on campus!The other gifts for the rest of her life are her care and character not her curves and complexion! Real men know this; so, get it screwed in! Those treacherous boys would call you 'sexy' and you would answer,Oh! Sorry! They touch your breast and you would smile.They would ask you out and you would oblige? Oh!you are indeed a mistake. Am not saying that you should be rude or never live a 'social life' but I want you to think deeper than you are currently doing.I want to turn your attention back to your books.You are not in school for breast exhibition. So, pay less attention to those boobs and give more attention to your books! You are not in school for cat walking show. You are rather here to show us the dignity of womanhood. You are here to prove to us that you are costly. So, why make yourself so cheap?I am writing this with both love and pain in my heart and that's why am sounding stern. I know about two girls now that have been living with their boyfriend since year one and as it is now they can't even even count how many abortions they had for that same boy at school but it's now like a normal thing to them, the last one she did almost took her life and that made her bleed for 4 months, imagine how you do feel with ordinary 4 days of menstruation leave alone living with it for months. As a matter of fact one of them has damaged her fallopian tube due to excessive use of contraceptives she has taken to prevent pregnancy. I want you to look beyond now and think of what advise you would give your own daughter when you become a mother. I hope I have not offended you... If I have please naomba msamaha. To the decent girls I have seen on campus: do not be swayed by these evil. Be consistent and keep celebrating your purity. I am always proud of you. And God is more proud of you.
