Peter Tabichi Biography

Peter Tabichi Full names Mr. Peter Mokaya Tabichi is a Kenyan mathematics and physics teacher from Kariko Secondary school in Nakuru county. He is the first African teacher to win the 100 Million Shillings Varkey Foundation Global TeachersAward.
The previous year award was won by Andrew From London. His win was announced by Australian Actor Hugh Jackman popularly known for his role in the X-Men Series as Wolverine. The ceremony was held in Dubai. His win put Kenya and Africa on The Global Map.
Peter beat 10,000 other nominees from 179 countries Globally.

Teacher Tabichi Born 1983 is 36 years of age as of  2019.

Mr. Tabichi, 36, was crowned the winner for dedicating his life to helping others. He gives 80% of his teaching salary to local community projects, including education, sustainable agriculture and peace-building.

Teacher Tabichi Networth is over 100 Million after he won The Varkey Foundation Global TeachersAward.
